As part of its 2021 scallop work priorities, the New England Fishery Management Council agreed to conduct an evaluation of the rotational management program used to manage the Atlantic sea scallop fishery.
In June 2021, the Council issued a request for proposals for an independent contractor to assist with the evaluation. Work on this project is now underway.
